Since founding her Cookery School in 2014, Mrs Bun the Baker has been on a mission to inspire the next generation with award-winning, hands-on-fun classes that not only teach the art of baking but also instill confidence, enhance communication, and promote the development of fine motor skills. Whether your child is a Young Bun just starting their culinary journey or an Older Bun ready to refine their baking prowess, our classes provide a welcoming environment for all to learn, create, and share delicious treats.
Cooking Lessons for Children
At this year’s Thame Food Festival, we are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for your little ones to dive into the delightful world of Mrs Bun the Baker. With a variety of sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels, there’s something for every aspiring chef.
So, why wait? Join us in creating magical moments in the kitchen, where every recipe is a new adventure and every creation is a step toward becoming a confident and passionate food enthusiast.
- £5 per child
- All children must be accompanied by an adult 18+
- Children must be 3+ years old
- There will be 10-12 children in each class
Whilst there is a small charge for children, adults that have purchased a festival ticket accompanying a child can watch for free.
We anticipate high demand this year and advise parents to book places in advance using the Ticketebo link below.
Mrs Bun the Baker has come up with a whole year’s worth of celebration bakes from New Year, through summer and all the way to Christmas. With inspiration from all over the world, this unique recipe book is packed with over 30 delicious recipes and with plenty of variations on offer there’s something for everyone.
This book will be available to buy and get signed by Mrs Bun at the marquee over the festival weekend.
