Flotsam The Fool's Circus Workshops
Flotsam and his family-run Circus have been performing at festivals up and down the country for over 10 years.
We are very excited to announce that they will be bringing their circus fun to Thame Food Festival, giving kids (and grown ups!) the chance to drop in and have a go at a variety of skills in a friendly space – no experience necessary!
So if you’ve ever wanted to learn to juggle, polish your hula hooping skills or try your luck on the slackline head on over to the Mini Big Top and say hello!
Free to attend but any donation to Thomley will be very welcome.

Children's Rugby Sessions with Chinnor Rugby Club

It’s the perfect chance for children to burn some energy, show off their skills, and have a blast!
We’ll also be sharing exciting news – the launch of our brand-new SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) Rugby sessions starting 12th October. SEND rugby is non-contact, fully inclusive, and all about fun – a brilliant way to get active, make friends, and be part of the game.
Pop by our stand to meet the coaches, find out more, and most importantly… have a go!
Thomley Children's Activity Area
Working with local charity Thomley based in Worminghall there will be a dedicated Children’s Activity Area featuring lots of art and fun things to do, including:
- Fabulous glitter face painting
- Bouncy Castle
- Archery
- Giant bubbles
- Coconut Shy
- Hook a Duck
- Lego Walk Challenge
- Food themed colouring competition.
- Children’s Tombola
- Children’s Snacks and Drinks
There will be lots of wonderful Thomley people on hand to make sure the children have a great time. They’ll also be manning their information stand, selling some kid’s drinks and snacks and fundraising with their famous tombola!
