The Thame Food Festival is held on the final weekend of September. Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2024

Thame Food Festival takes place at:

The Thame Showground
Kingsey Road
Thame
Oxfordshire
OX9 3JL

On Saturday, the festival opens from 10am – 6.00pm, and on Sunday the festival will be open from 10.00am – 5.00pm.

You can purchase tickets in advance online here.

FAST TRACK TICKETS are available online up to, and over the Festival weekend. You can also buy tickets at the Festival gate all weekend too. (Payment by cash or card)

The ticket price includes free parking and entry, with access to The Festival Village which includes The Big Cookery Stage, Wine Studio, Festival on Fire and more. We also have free Live Music and Circus Workshops.

Once again we’re having our Fun Family Dog Show and dogs are of course very welcome.

However, we do ask that they remain on their leads at all times and you use the dog bins provided.

There will also be water buckets available for your thirsty companions.

There is FREE car parking at the show ground, just a moments walk from the festival, so you can keep popping back to drop off your booty.

We have a Pedestrian Entrance by the Chinnor Rugby Club end of the Show Ground (further along the bypass and next to a mini roundabout). You will need to cross the road at the mini roundabout, please be careful as there will be a lot of Festival Traffic. Your safety is important to us, but it is also your responsibility to stay safe.

Please enter the show ground by following Pedestrian signs.

Please see map for more information.

This will take you down the outside of the Festival and around to the front Main Entrance where you can buy or pick up your tickets. Please note that is the only entrance that the Public can get into the festival – other entrances are for stall holders and Festival staff ONLY.

Walking in by the Rugby Club prevents you from having to walk on the grass by the bypass. It is safer, so please use it if you can.

Yes you can. We have card facilities at the gate. This may  take a little longer to process at the gate please be patient.

Please bring cash with you on the day as there will be no ATM’s on the show ground.  But do bring your cards as many of our stall holders do accept card payment.

However, please remember the majority of our stalls are run by small artisan producers so cash is always preferable.

There will be plenty of seating, both covered and uncovered, at the festival.  But please feel free to bring your picnic blankets and fold up chairs with you if you fancy.

There is Disabled Parking right by the entrance to the Festival gate – please ask a member of our security to direct you there as you drive in.

Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter access is good around the Festival Show Ground and at entry, however please bear in mind that the festival is on a green field site and therefore may be slightly hard to navigate at times.

We also have accessible loos at all the banks of loos within the festival ground.

Complimentary adult carer tickets can be obtained on the day of your visit upon presentation of proof of registered disability (such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter).

Yes, smoking is permitted but please try and smoke away from other visitors. We request that you do not smoke in any of the marquees - this is an enclosed place and also a fire hazard.

There will be various water points clearly marked around the show ground.  With this in mind, please bring your reusable and refillable drink bottles with you and fill up at one of our FREE water stations.

Please see our environmental approach.

Please also bring your ‘bags for life’ to do your shopping.

We will be ready for you come rain or shine but it's always best to dress for the weather! Whilst we're hoping for sunny spells, it's an outdoor event and we all know British weather can be a bit changeable... Please bring sensible footwear and a brolly so you're prepared.

Yes, adults, children, babies and dogs can attend although it might be worth bearing in mind that due to government rules only people of the age of 18 and above can drink alcohol.

All children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

We can’t wait to see you all there.
