Since founding her Cookery School in 2014, Mrs Bun the Baker has been on a mission to inspire the next generation with award-winning, hands-on-fun classes that not only teach the art of baking but also instill confidence, enhance communication, and promote the development of fine motor skills. Whether your child is a Young Bun just starting their culinary journey or an Older Bun ready to refine their baking prowess, our classes provide a welcoming environment for all to learn, create, and share delicious treats.
Cooking Lessons for Children
At this year’s Thame Food Festival, we are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for your little ones to dive into the delightful world of Mrs Bun the Baker.

- £10.50 per child
- Each ticket includes the 45 minute class, a special BP Collins Chef Hat and Apron, AND a copy of Mrs Bun the Bakers Cookery Book
- All children must be accompanied by an adult 18+
- Children must be 3+ years old
- There will be 10 children in each class
- When booking please advise of any allergies
Whilst there is a charge for children, adults that have purchased a festival ticket accompanying a child can watch for free.
Advanced tickets are only available to purchase online until 6pm Friday 25th September. If spaces are still available, tickets can be purchased at the festival gate or within the festival. Places book up fast, so don’t delay!
Little Chefs Cooking Fun with Mrs Bun the Baker!
Get ready for a deliciously fun cooking adventure with Mrs Bun the Baker! This year, our little chefs will be getting stuck into the wonderful world of butter-making – yes, they’ll be making their very own butter and then tasting it on yummy bread! While the butter is being made, they can tuck into tortilla chips as they whip up their own guacamole and salsa.
There’ll be lots of mixing, stirring, tasting, giggling and probably a little bit of mess too! And the fun doesn’t stop there – every child gets to take home a pot of their delicious creation, along with their very own apron, chef’s hat and a Mrs Bun the Baker book.
All this for just £10.50 per child, making it a fantastic-value, hands-on experience they’ll love – and they get to take a little bit of the fun home with them too!
COOKERY BOOK. Mrs Bun the Baker has come up with a whole year’s worth of celebration bakes from New Year, through summer and all the way to Christmas. With inspiration from all over the world, this unique recipe book is packed with over 30 delicious recipes and with plenty of variations on offer there’s something for everyone.
This book is INCLUDED IN THE COOKERY CLASS TICKET PRICE and will be signed by Mrs Bun at the marquee over the festival weekend.
